TYSON HOUSE, WILSON CREEK

LEED GOLD STANDARD

This newly constructed home was built to replicate a 100-year-old farmhouse, down to the smallest details. It was built entirely with Forest Stewardship Council wood, and all interior and exterior products used were environmentally sound and have passed LEEDS standards. Authentic plumbing and lighting fixtures were sourced from various parts of the world and retrofitted to comply with CSA standards. All windows and interior doors are custom built. The walls were plastered in natural Venetian plaster made of 100% organic composite. This is a challenging, exciting, on-going project spanning over seven years. The attention to detail and research has been incredibly in-depth.
